If a leader is intimidated by the skills and talents of a subordinate, what is the result?
If a leader does not think he/she has capable followers, what is the result?
If a leader thinks that they deserve credit and not blame, what is the result?
If a leader thinks that their example is not the deciding factor in the achievement or lack of achievement of their followers, what is the result?
“As a Leader Thinketh…31 Things Every Leader Must Know and Show” is the assemblage and reflections of many people’s observations and experiences (not limited to my own). Jesus is credited with saying, “ As a man thinketh, so is he.” I believe this to be true of leaders as well.
The main title, “As a Leader Thinketh” refers to the most important aspect of leadership; THINKING. The conversations that take place in the mind of a leader and the resolutions of those conversations absolutely shape reality.Leaders rise and fall on their thoughts. This is why I named this book, “As a Leader Thinketh”
The lack of viable leadership that people can put their weight and talent behind is the greatest problem facing us and filling that void is the solution.
